SchoolUniversity of WaterlooProgramMechatronics EngineeringClass2026 BioOlivia is a mechatronics engineering student at UWaterloo, where she co-founded and runs the creative tech group PRISM collective, an interdisciplinary group of engineers, artists, scientists, and designers building public-facing installations. She's also passionate about researching and developing sensory tech that interfaces with the human body (neurotech, bioelectronics, wearables, etc.). Previously, she worked on embedded systems for neurosurgery and underwater robotics at both startups and in academic research, and also contributed to the development of the iPhone 17 as part of Apple's product design engineering team. She would love to meet people with aligned interests in any of the above spaces and is always open to chatting about potential project collabs! In her spare time she enjoys painting, cafe hopping, playing piano, hiking, and snowboarding!
